Breaking new ground: Rain’s 2025 in review

As 2025 comes to a close, we’re celebrating a year powered by real momentum. At Rain, we advanced our mission to make crypto more accessible, secure, and seamlessly integrated across the region. From growing our footprint to enhancing our products, every step reflected our commitment to being your trusted crypto platform. 

Here’s how we moved the needle this year.

Expanding your opportunities

This year was about giving you more choices and smoother access. We added more than 100 new crypto assets this year, bringing our total assets listed to over 300 across our entities. Additionally, we added over 50 new coins to Rain Pro, our advanced trading platform, all available with our globally competitive 0% maker and 0.05% taker fees.

To make your experience even faster, we launched Apple Pay starting with customers in Bahrain, making secure crypto purchases just a tap away. We also introduced the ability to sign up and sign in with Google, allowing you to start or resume your journey in just a few clicks.

Strengthening trust and security

Security is one of our pillars at Rain. In 2025, we rolled out a new device verification feature to combat phishing, and enabled address whitelisting to safeguard your crypto sends. We also submitted our full license application in Turkiye to become one of the first regulated crypto companies in the country, and announced a strategic partnership with Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait (BBK) to bring you more trusted services.

Deepening our regional roots

We believe that education and dialogue are the cornerstones of a healthy crypto ecosystem. This year, we were honored to lead information sharing sessions with regulators in the region, including Oman, Jordan, and Pakistan to foster innovation and consumer protection. We also provided tailored educational sessions for partners like Benefit and Export Bahrain, while opening our doors to students to help the next generation navigate the future of finance.

Community remains at the heart of what we do. In collaboration with crypto influencers in Bahrain, we established "The Crypto Club" as a space for enthusiasts to exchange knowledge and brought the industry together at "Rain Connect 2025" to map out the evolution of crypto. Our leadership also took the global stage at Fintech Forward 2025 in Bahrain, the Bosphorus Summit in Turkey, and Bitcoin MENA in the UAE, where they highlighted Rain’s role in shaping the region’s crypto foundations and showcased the region’s growing influence on the global stage.

Nurturing future talent

We are building for the long term, and that means investing in the younger generation. This summer, we launched the third edition of the "Rain Apprentice" program, our summer internship designed to nurture the next generation of fintech talent in Bahrain.
