What Is Flappening?

Charlie Lee created the phrase "flappening" in the earlier time of 2018 to characterize the instant when Litecoin (LTC) exceeded Bitcoin Cash (BCH) in regard to market valuation. It's a witty spin on the phrase Flippening, which refers to the instant Ethereum (ETH) that may surpass Bitcoin (BTC) regarding market cap. A cryptocurrency's market capitalization is described loosely as its circulating supply multiplied by its current market price (though some measures exclude lost coins or tokens).

Difference Between Flappening and Flippening

Apart from Flippening, which did not occur as of April 2019, Flappening occurred when the market cap of Litecoin exceeded that of Bitcoin Cash on December 14th, 2018.
