In order to ensure the safety of your funds and transactions, Rain requires additional information when you send or receive crypto through your Rain account.
The information we request from you is about the nature of your transaction and we use it to verify the security of the transaction.
Here are the details you need to confirm to complete your send or receive transaction:
If you own the account you are transferring funds to or receiving from:
Check the box “Yes, I own this account” to proceed.
If you are sending to or receiving from another exchange (external wallet):
Check the box “Centralized Provided (Exchange)” and fill out the custodial name (name of the exchange).
If you are not the owner of the external wallet, fill in the first and last name of the sender/recipient.
If you are sending to or receiving from a self-hosted wallet:
Check the box “Self-hosted wallet”.
If you are not the owner of the self-hosted wallet, fill in the first and last name of the sender/recipient.
