Vladimir Club

What Is Vladimir Club?

The phrase "Vladimir Club" was first used to refer to Bitcoin on the BitcoinTalk forum.  The name Vladimir Club was coined because user Vladimir stated that holding 1% of the maximum supply of Bitcoin was a great idea. Because the maximum quantity of Bitcoin is 21,000,000 coins, everyone who owns more than 2,100 BTC is a member of the Vladimir Club.

Further Understanding the Concept of Vladimir Club

It was much more affordable to join the Vladimir club back in the day than it is now. The maximum number of club members was initially anticipated to be 10,000, that is, if all coins were mined and then divided equally among the members.

Nevertheless, because some Bitcoin holders accumulate far more than 2,100 coins, the maximum number of members is far lower. Furthermore, a huge number of coins remain unreachable because either the private keys were lost permanently or because they were transmitted to incorrect addresses and cannot be recovered.

It is tough to determine the number of members the Vladimir Club currently has since many Bitcoin holders spread their wealth across numerous addresses, and some of the wealthiest addresses may be owned by the same person.

Nonetheless, the Vladimir Club's membership is estimated to be between 500 and 600 persons. Because the Vladimir Club concept has gained traction in the cryptocurrency industry, the name is frequently used to refer to cryptocurrencies other than Bitcoin.
